Clark Construction sought a way to better integrate their social media feeds, particularly for their home and Careers pages. By providing a tailored, more automated approach for important updates, content could be produced on a more frequent basis in key areas of the site. This served to better attract talent, generate leads, and increase traffic. We connected the LinkedIn feed, in particular, to promote highly skilled positions on higher traffic pages.

Careful Content Curation
We used a powerful Drupal platform to integrate the refreshed design with aggregated and curated content from multiple sources. These sources include Clark Construction news, projects, the Superstructure newsletter, and social media platforms. To account for these wide variety of content types, WDG’s design team created a grid structure that allowed administrators full control of content curation. Using content blocks, Clark Construction administrators can easily features updated and relevant content from any of these sources simultaneously on the homepage. This flexibility creates an avenue for a continual content refresh and unique user experience.
Flexible Content Grid
As Clark Construction publishes content based not only on type, but based on various levels of progress in different project stages, it was important for administrators to quickly and easily swap content on various pages. With a wide range of use cases for content from various sources, we created the flexible grid structure could be repurposed across pages. This gave Clark Construction the needed tools to continuously present dynamic and engaging content. The structure also ensures an easier administration experience for the Clark Construction team, accounting for a wide variety of content needs at any given time. Our team also designed a new footer with increased overall width of specific elements to accommodate the grids within this tapestry approach.
Strengthening the Clark Construction Brand
To better reinforce the Clark Construction brand of safety and integrity, we instituted a design refresh which better emphasized the key Clark Construction initiatives more prominently. We also instituted style guides across the layouts to ensure consistency. The Safety pages needed to promote the company culture more prominently, while the homepage integrated auto-looping video content to highlight safety culture as a tenet of the brand. We also incorporated key strategies to better highlight the success of the brand for internal and external marketing initiatives. These included integrating LinkedIn opportunities across pages, incorporating testimonials in key locations, and ensuring the style guide was utilized consistently throughout the pages.
